The ConVertor E1 translates the natural nuances of a monophonic audio signal to analog and digital synthesizers. Housed in an ultra-compact but expandable module. Developed from the ground up, using a 3rd gen. tracking algorithm, the ConVertor E1 packs an enormous amount of features compared to its size. With a professional preamp, internal ACO / VCO type of oscillator, VCA, VCF, LFO, vai-mu style compressor expander, quantizer, and a unique preamp with a powerful auto-gain function. Multiple expansion options are planned, both in software and hardware.

ACO / VCO dual mode control.

With a 3rd generation technology, the ConVertor E1 is capable of detecting the pitch of a monophonic input audio, lock onto its frequency, and do it at sub 1 ms latency. It can also synthesize a choice of 6 waveforms and provide you with pitch, envelope, and gate CV outputs with the shortest latency possible today. In addition, its pitch can be quantized, and its ENV compressed/expanded.

The intuitive interface makes controlling its plentiful functions easy. Functions that would have taken 7-12 additional modules, are now offered at a touch of a button.

This Eurorack module is built for efficiency and stability, consuming only about 84mA. It also offers auto-save & recall memory of all settings so you can power it off, turn it back on and carry on where you left off.

4-pin header cable allows a high-speed, bi-directional connection for digital expansion such as the MIDVertor E1.

The ConVertor E1 Eurorack module has a clean and smart preamp featuring a unique auto-gain of +54db range to accommodate most types of audio sources in a snap. Pitch tracking evolved to become so accurate that no filter is needed, no matter the source material or its frequency range. The ENV CV now has its own compressor / expander with 6 selectable 'vari mu' style curves. The FM input also has its own quantizer. 6 Character LED meter reflects the input level of the audio input or menu choices periodically. VCO mode will separate the preamp from the oscillator leaving it completely independent while still providing the ENV CV and pitch CV outs. In VCO mode the oscillator will be controlled only from incoming 1V/oct CV input, either continuous or quantized.

The ConVertor E1 internal oscillator can generate either true-sine, triangle, square, sawtooth, PWM or a saw-square-mix waves from its SYNTH output. The P-SHIFT knob is an inf. encoder that shifts the relative pitch of the internal oscillator and the pitch CV output within a 4-octave range in semi-tones. Encoder can also be pushed to go back to unison quickly. With internal VCA, VCF, quantizer, compressor/expander, attenuator, LFO's, routing, and different modes of operation, the ConVertor E1 offers memory of all settings to keep the show going smoothly.

What you've done is absolutely amazing judging by the demos... Gut feeling tells me that the ACO is really going to scare some of the bigger players within the industry; it's really sunk in over the past few days just how many different things are actually going to be possible in terms of experimentation. Expecting to have a huge amount of fun with these two! Accessibility and having fun with synths is going to be a big deal for consumers.
